The commodity code enquiry service provided by our department through the Import / Export Declaration and Cargo Manifest Enquiry Hotline at 2877 1818 has also been terminated simultaneously. For enquiries on commodity code, you may submit an enquiry through the online enquiry form; or e-mail a completed Commodity Code Enquiry Form (in fillable PDF format only) to tc_1@censtatd.gov.hk.

2026 Amendments to the Hong Kong Harmonized System
The current edition of the Hong Kong Imports and Exports Classification List (Harmonized System) (HKIECL) has been amended and the amendments take effect from 1 January 2026. Import and export declarations for shipments on or after 1 January 2026 must be completed in accordance with the amended classification made to the HKIECL. [Details]
